A Night Out With “The Girls”… and Those Who Love Them. Breast Restoration Awareness – A BRA Event. May 4, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Andrew Richard Designs, 571 Adelaide Street East. This event raises awareness and funds to support a breast reconstruction program for women with breast cancer.  The evening will feature fabulous food, wine, music, draw prizes and education.
Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology (CAPO) 2011 Conference – Searching for Wisdom: Bridging Clinical Practice & Research. May 4 – 6, 2011, Toronto, ON. The 2011 conference will bring together interdisciplinary professional to explore, share, learn and discuss the psychosocial aspects of cancer.
In The Pink is a complimentary workshop that seeks to educate, inspire and unite women who are currently in treatment for and recovering from breast cancer. The 3 hour afternoon is comprised of one part rehabilitative Pilates class and one-part self-esteem building Pin-Up styled Burlesque class. Sunday May 15, 2011 from 1:30 – 4:30 at The Extension Room

World Conference on Breast Cancer June 7 – 11, 2011, Hamilton, ON. The World Conference is inspired by the vision of a world without breast cancer. This is an international forum where all aspects of breast cancer can be addressed and immediate action taken. Rethink Breast Cancer will be hosting a lunch and panel on Friday, June 10 at the World Conference on Breast Cancer.
Canadian Breast Cancer Symposium June 16 & 17, 2011, Toronto, ON. This two day symposium is designed to highlight the multi-disciplinary management of breast cancer through plenary lectures, core presentations, panel discussions and case-based workshops.

Young Adult Cancer Canada is inviting young adults (ages 18 – 39) dealing with cancer to join the 5th Annual Survivor Conference in Ottawa from November 3-7, 2011.  Build community, share experiences and learn how to make the rest of life the best of life with others who truly “get it.” The program is free for survivors and one supporter, however you are asked to cover your travel to and from Ottawa.
