The 2018 Queen’s Plate Highlights

By Rethink Breast Cancer July 4 2018

It was a weekend of hats, horseshoes, fashion, fun, and fundraising at the 159th Annual The Queen’s Plate! The dapper displays we witnessed all weekend prove once again that it’s possible to have fun, look good and do good all at the same time!

The blazing temperatures that we felt all weekend were no match for Wonder Gadot, the horse who claimed first place in the race with jockey John Velazquez.

The second most anticipated outcome of the weekend was the lucky winner of the $11,410 pot in the 50/50 draw, ticket A-760146! Click here or email for more information about claiming your prize.

In addition to the proceeds from the 50/50 draw, 1$ from every ticket sold will be used to directly impact the lives of young women living with breast cancer. Thanks to everyone who came out to our Hats + Horseshoes Party, and to Woodbine for hosting yet another incredible weekend of horse racing and high fashion! We demonstrated yet again that we know how to have fun while raising funds.

Here are some highlights from The 2018 Queen’s Plate:
