The animals at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL-Iowa) got to enjoy the excitement around Christmas just as much as the humans did. + Through the ARL-Iowa “Tree of Life” program the rescue cats and dogs got to dive in and choose their own presents from a huge pile of gifts under the Christmas tree. + Toys, food, bedding and all of the attention that day overwhelmed the rescue animals who nabbed and dragged around the Christmas presents of their choice. + The ARL-Iowa are grateful for all the donations that have made the shelter functional and comfortable and this Christmas event possible.
