Can’t make it?

Donate to support Rethink’s work in revolutionizing what it means to live with and beyond breast cancer for younger women.

How Boobyball started

In 2002, Sarah O’Regan was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer at just 23 years old. As a young and active woman who spent her spare time training for triathlons, Sarah barely knew what breast cancer was when she was suddenly facing surgery and chemotherapy.

Feeling shocked and helpless, a few of her close friends decided to throw a party to lift her spirits. Over 600 people showed up to support Sarah, and Boobyball was born!

Today, Sarah is NED and comes out to Boobyball every year!

What started as a celebration of one woman quickly transformed into a movement, engaging hundreds of thousands of young philanthropists and raising over $5.2 million for Rethink’s work supporting younger women impacted by breast cancer.

Boobyball throughout the years

Each year, Boobyball takes on a themed twist for a night filled with dancing, drinks, bites, and interactive activations. Whether dressed in full glam or with a hint of campy fun, Boobyballers never fail to go all out in support of Rethink.

Join the party everyone’s talking about

Boobyball is what happens when we decide fundraising doesn’t have to be boring, and showing up, really showing up, is the most powerful thing we can do.

Turn up for a fun and purposeful dance party in support of Rethink Breast Cancer.
