MJ is the Founder + Executive Director at Rethink Breast Cancer where she is responsible for the overall direction, management, fundraising strategy and creative vision of an increasingly bigger and bolder Rethink. While she’s won numerous “trailblazer” awards for her work at Rethink and is known for modernizing the breast cancer campaign, MJ also has a cat-loving, Jane Austen-reading, ’40s musical-watching side. She loves winter snuggled up at home with her husband and daughter, but always the adventurer, has an Arctic expedition on her bucket list.

Jasmine is the Lead of Content, Community + Collaborations at Rethink Breast Cancer, where she helps facilitate conversations through storytelling and education, driving Rethink’s content strategy in a way that most resonates with people in today’s world. She loves using our unique stories and human experiences as a way to connect and build community. Jasmine is passionate about health equity and has worked on several projects and collaborations focused on underserved communities. Jasmine previously worked in communications and public relations in mental health at a large research hospital network. A lover of all things before her time and the natural world, you’d most likely find her strolling the aisles of a vintage store or wandering in a forest.

Alyson Geary is the Lead, Impact Partnerships, Support + Community Powered Projects where she helps drive revenue and awareness for the mission, supports the healing and psychosocial programs for breast cancer patients and works closely with the community and volunteers on various events and projects. Aly is a builder, fascinated by ideas and is always looking for connections. Having worked in the not-for-profit sector for over two decades – from academia to healthcare – and having experienced breast cancer personally at a young age, Aly is very driven by the Rethink mission and passionate about making a difference. When Aly is not working, she keeps busy by renovating her 150-year-old century home in the country, hiking in the forest with her dogs or dreaming of her future goat farm.

Trish Campbell is the Administrative + Operations Coordinator at Rethink where she is a driving force behind coordinating and connecting the dots within the Rethink world – both internal and external, working her magic behind the scenes and making everything flow and feel seamless. Having a background in the corporate world for over 20 years in account management and marketing, Trish combines her organizational skillset and passion for navigating uncharted spaces with her passion for creativity, connection, and building community. When she is not at Rethink, you will find Trish, an author of 2 published books and Self-Love advocate, supporting others through her work as a Reiki Practitioner and Healing Facilitator, hiking local trails, and creating with pen or paint brush in hand.

Jenn Gordon is the Lead, Strategic Operations and Engagement at Rethink Breast Cancer where she works with stakeholders including health care professionals, government agencies and industry partners to ensure the experiences of people living with breast cancer shape priorities and decisions. Having worked with the breast cancer community for over a decade, Jenn is passionate about developing collaborative opportunities to address the many unmet needs of people living with breast cancer. When she’s not working you can find her outside enjoying country living, readin a book, or acting as her children’s personal chauffeur.

Shauna is the Lead, Patient Engagement, where she engages and empowers the community to help drive systems change. Having her own experience with breast cancer after being diagnosed at a young age, she is passionate about increasing access to resources for people in the community and centering the perspectives of those with lived experience in key decision making. Outside of her work in challenging the status quo for people impacted by breast cancer, Shauna spends her spare time traipsing through the isles of local vintage shops, being swept away by live music at venues across the city and dreaming up new locations for her next adventure.

Key Collaborators
The Key Collaborators are a group of people in the breast cancer community with lived experience, either as someone with breast cancer or a caregiver, who work closely with Rethink on projects and initiatives, largely informing and helping shape the work Rethink does. These individuals offer their time as passionate patient advocates and volunteers to help rethink breast cancer, representing the breast cancer community and bringing the community’s voice to the table. Within the Key Collaborators, we have a few groups including the MBC Advisory Board and Equity, Diversity + Inclusion Working Group.
